34-35 Weeks

We are 35 weeks pregnant!! Only 5 more weeks to go!!!!

At this point everything at home is ready for Gage's arrival. All his cute little clothes are washed (that was the first time I smiled while doing laundry), his room is put together, all toys, bottles etc are cleaned and put away...

I like to do these comparison pictures because you can really see the growth of my belly. Its crazy how much it grows from week to week, especially at this point.

Matt and I took a "child birth class" and a "what to do when baby gets home" class. I must say, his diapering was way better than mine! However, I'm sure ill get plenty of practice and master it in no time.

I promised I wouldn't show anyone this picture...but... I couldn't help myself :)

This past weekend we went to my 10 year high school reunion. I thought I was going to be "hot" and rock my high heels... well that lasted a whole 45 minutes..thank god I brought flats! KANKLES!!!

This weeks doctor update: I am 1 centimeter dilated, which means things are moving along and I'm right on track to delivery on my due date (September 29th) or a bit before. She doesn't think I will go over my due date at this point.

Gage is laying straight across my belly, with his head facing to my right side. Dr. Chen says "at this point, baby probably won't do much more turning and unless he decides to turn his head down, we will have to schedule a C-section." I am trying not to have a birth plan and just go with the flow, but I was really hopping to deliver naturally....We still have 5 weeks for things to change tho, so well see :)

From here on out, I will go to the doctor every week.

Love Always,

Meet the God Parents

Matt and I have chosen a God Mother and God Father for Gage :) On a less religious note, we chose two very special people who will serve as a mentor/sponsor, someone for Gage to look up to, just another special person to remain in Gage's life and be there for him throughout the good and the bad.

Meet the God Mother: Brittany Ecalono
Brittany is a very special person, who has been a great friend to Matt and I for the past 5 years. She has always been there for us and we know she will do the same for Gage.

36 weeks pregnant.

Meet the God Father: Chad Ruhl
Chad is one of Matt's cousins. He is not only a great cousin, but a great friend to both Matt and myself. I know Gage will look u to him as a cool, fun "big brother" and love him as much as we do!

33 weeks pregnant

          Love Always,

33 Weeks

We are 33 weeks pregnant...

I am finally starting to feel "pregnant" and after 33 weeks I believe I have the right to complain. :) My job probably doesn't help, but my feet swell everyday, and I don't sleep much at this point. Either way, I'm in the one stretch!!!! Only 7 weeks to go (give or take)...

We had a great last few days in the keys with Matt's family. I can't wait until next Year's Keys trip- Gage will be out of my belly and a margarita will be in it!!

I vouched that this would be my last weekend on the boat until Gage is born :( I don't need to be going into labor in the middle of the ocean.

We went to the doctor this past Monday and got to see a brief (basic) sonogram of Gage. He is moving around great, his heart beat is prefect... and he's facing almost all the way down, but his head is still turned up a bit. Every time we tired to get a good picture of his face he would turn his head but we (me, Matt and Dr. Chen) agree that he has Matt's nose and my lips... he looks a lot like Matt when he was a baby!

Our next visit is in 2 weeks and we will know a lot more...

Until Next time

32 weeks

We are 32 weeks pregnant and our baby is the size of a squash.
He weighs around 4.5 pounds (gaining about 1/2 a pound a week from here on). He is moving around a lot and getting ready to make his debut . The doctor said "he feels like he is in the head-down position" and I am still measuring right on schedule to deliver on September 29th.

Here is a comparrassion of the past few weeks...

Until next week...
